Become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor with the Best IDC Program in Cozumel and the Riviera Maya
It’s ALL FUN
It’s About Life Transformations—both yours and those around you.
While most other Instructor Development Courses (IDC) run about 11 days and teach you how to pass the Instructor Examination (IE), we at GoPRO Blue Magic feel it is most important to learn how to teach real people!!
We take the time (15-17 days) to teach you how to succeed in your real test: Your first Open Water Student!!
The Fun Part:
The fun part of instructor training is interacting with course participants while creating friendships that continue long after the course concludes.
You’ll begin networking with other professionals and begin to explore PADI Pro Diving Jobs worldwide.
The Challenging Part:
The challenging part of this course is your personal commitment to the training. The course requires you to complete all the self-study Knowledge Reviews before the course begins and to prepare daily assignments for teaching presentations. Organization and dedication are key.
Getting Started
Your adventure begins NOW!!
The first portion of the course is done online, through the PADI e-learning portal. This lets you study independently, at your own pace before arriving to Cozumel, saving valuable classroom time allowing for more time practicing the skills that will make you stand out as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
While you are working on the 16 Knowledge Development sections, remember that we are just one text, call or e-mail away.
We run the longest PADI IDC in Cozumel and the Riviera Maya our teaching team includes a dedicated Course Director and Master Instructor, both completely dedicated to the program and available 24/7 by -email, phone or text.
Our 100% pass rate assures you get the best training available.
Dive professionals who hold an instructor rating with another diver training organization may be eligible to enroll directly in the OWSI program. This recognizes prior instructor training and provides a path to become a PADI Instructor.
